Chapters
LSU Medical School
The purpose of the LSUHSC chapter of the Christian Medical and Dental Association is to glorify God by motivating, educating, and equipping Christian doctors and students to serve with professional excellence as witnesses of Christ’s love and compassion, and by advancing biblical principles of healthcare within the Church and to our culture.
LSU Dental School
LSU Dental is an active participant in CMDA New Orleans, engaging students and faculty in faith-based service and professional development. Through regular meetings, outreach events, and community service projects, the school fosters a supportive environment where dental students can grow both spiritually and professionally. By collaborating with CMDA, LSU Dental School helps equip future dental professionals to serve with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to holistic care throughout the local community.
Tulane Christian Medical Association (TCMA)
TCMA is a group for medical and public health students who are either Christian or interested in learning more about Christianity. They host annual semester socials, invite physician speakers, and lead Bible studies to grow in faith and pursue fellowship with classmates. The third Wednesday of every month, they join local young Christians in the evening to feed the homeless.
Local Area Practitioners
New Orleans Local Area Chapter exists to create community for Christian healthcare professionals and students, fostering fellowship and discipleship through local ministries, and equipping them to live out their faith with professional excellence in their campuses and communities. This chapter will provide a platform for connecting, encouraging, and educating members to serve with Christ-like character and biblical principles in a variety of settings, including medical missions and discussions on modern healthcare ethics.
